Founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1846, Saint Xavier University is Chicago's first Catholic university. SXU has been awarded two grants from the U.S. Department of Education. The Enlace and Conexiones grants are part of an intentional strategy that will build additional supports and strengthen existing resources for SXU students. Read more.

SXU art and design professor Gretchen Hasse received an art grant from Make a Wave, awarded to select artists who are making an impact in Chicago. Read more.

SXU Biology Students Awarded TriBeta Research Grant

SXU biology and psychology student Eniola Oyefeso is one of four students who have been awarded a research grant from the Beta Beta Beta Research Foundation for her research on red-sided garter snakes. Read more.
